Dear Internship Coordinator:
I am writing this letter in response to a posting on hiremason.gmu.edu for the Electrical Engineer Internship. My academic major at George Mason University is electrical engineering, specifically in Electrical Engineering Master of Science’s degree. I have always interested in developing and managing electronic systems, including programming, and I am excited to earn experience with an incorporation company as an intern.
I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology, Indonesia with ABET accreditation within 4 years of study, and I have experienced in everything related to modern test equipment from all the laboratory courses. I am no doubt a passionate person in analyzing and working with electronic matters. I have skills in programming with Visual Basic and with USB sensing and control from PC. I am able to direct myself to work with responsibility and integrity. I fluently communicate in English and I have experienced to manage a team in my final project (thesis), and I completely succeeded in finishing my thesis with my team, including all the documents required for graduating,
The position with Ellumen, Inc. is of great interest of me because it is a place where I can learn many new things in developing healthcare systems to medical imaging technology. Other than focuses on getting profits, Ellumen, Inc. also targets their work in developing IT solutions to innovate and advance the technology of medic or healthcare. I am willing to contribute my knowledge in skills to help the company create and develop many IT solutions.
I have enclosed my resume with the resume and reference list of mine. I will follow up next week to ask whether you will need an extra information. I may be reached by phone: 347-244-2669 or e-mail: aany@gmu.edu. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Alfredo Any
